With the popularization of fast charging technology, PD (Power Delivery) charging heads have become common accessories for mobile phones, tablets and other devices, and CCC certification is the key threshold for such products to enter the market. Many consumers are not familiar with the CCC certification for PD chargers. In fact, it is closely related to product safety and user experience.

CCC certification, the full name of which is "China Compulsory Product Certification", is a compulsory certification system established by China for products involving personal safety and public safety, and is uniformly managed by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China. According to relevant regulations, PD chargers fall under the category of "household and similar electrical appliances" and must obtain CCC certification before they can be produced, sold and imported domestically. This is the basic prerequisite for product compliance.

The core reason why PD chargers need to pass CCC certification lies in safety guarantees. PD chargers generally support high power output. If the internal circuit design is unreasonable or the quality of components does not meet the standards, problems such as overtemperature, overcurrent, and short circuit may occur. In mild cases, it may damage the equipment; in severe cases, it may cause fire and electric shock accidents. CCC certification will be based on national standards such as GB 4706.1 to test over 20 indicators of the charging head, including electrical insulation, anti-electric shock protection, electromagnetic compatibility, and material flame retardancy. Only when all meet the standards can the certification be passed, reducing safety risks from the source.

From the perspective of the certification process, for a PD charger to obtain CCC certification, it needs to go through three key steps: Firstly, the manufacturing enterprise submits an application to a qualified certification body and provides product design drawings, technical parameters and other materials; Secondly, the certification body conducts laboratory tests on the samples to verify whether the products meet the standard requirements. Finally, after the inspection is qualified, the certification body will conduct an on-site audit of the enterprise's production workshop to confirm the consistency between the production capacity and the samples. Only after all are passed will the CCC certification certificate be issued, allowing the products to be affixed with the CCC mark.

For consumers, checking the CCC certification mark when purchasing a PD charger is a simple and effective way to make a safety judgment. This certification is not only a proof of product compliance, but also an important guarantee for users' electrical safety, and it also promotes the entire PD charging head industry to develop in a more standardized and safer direction.
