The Necessity of Bluetooth SRRC Authentication
SRRC is a compulsory certification requirement of the National Radio Regulatory Commission. Since June 1, 1999, the Ministry of Information Industry of China has compulsorily stipulated that all radio component products sold and used in China must obtain the radio model approval certification (i.e. SRRC certification).
The Electronic Commerce Law will officially implement this certification on January 1, 2019. According to the explicit requirements of Article 15 of the Electronic Commerce Law and the beginning of the inspection of channel goods by the Beijing Municipal Radio Commission, all products with wireless communication functions such as WIFI and Bluetooth need to pass the Type Approval Certificate of Radio Transmitting Equipment before they can be qualified for sale.
