What is SRRC certification?

China Model Approval (SRRC) is a national mandatory certification, which aims to distinguish the civilian band from the military band in the wireless band. It refers to the technical management of the spectrum parameters and technical indicators of the radio transmitting equipment in the links of research, production, import and purchase before it is put into use. Since June 1, 1999, the radio component products sold and used in China must obtain the approval and certification of the radio model. The radio transmitting equipment produced, sold and used in China shall be subject to model approval, and the approval certificate and model approval code shall be issued. The model approval code shall be indicated on the label of the ex factory equipment.

Materials to be prepared for wireless doorbell SRRC certification application

1. Approval of radio transmission equipment model application form requires the signature and seal of the enterprise legal person

2. The power of attorney for approving the radio transmission model requires the signature and seal of the enterprise legal person

3. Operation manual, technical specification, circuit schematic diagram, PCB board diagram

4. Description of antenna gain

5. Fixed frequency software and operation instructions (please provide computer control if necessary)

6. Equipment photos (six photos, front and back of the main board, with shielding cover removed, reflecting the applicant, equipment name, equipment model, equipment serial number, structure size, CMIIT ID)

7. The business license of the enterprise legal person needs to be sealed, and the introduction of the enterprise (production capacity, technical force, quality control) needs to be sealed

8. The scanning copy of the quality management system certificate, i.e. ISO9001 certificate, or the enterprise introduction needs to be stamped

Wireless doorbell SRRC certification process

1. The equipment applying for the Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate must obtain the Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Inspection Report issued by the radio transmission equipment emission characteristics testing agency recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and then submit the application materials for the Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate.

2. Download the Application Form for Model Approval of Radio Transmission Equipment from the radio transmission equipment model approval website; The agent application unit shall download the Power of Attorney for Approving the Model of Radio Transmission Equipment together.

3. Application materials for model approval of radio transmission equipment shall be provided with Chinese or English version, and materials in other languages shall be translated into Chinese or English (the translation unit/department shall affix official seal).

4. The application materials submitted by the application unit or agent application unit by mail shall be examined and approved in the form; If the application fails to pass the formal examination, the applicant or agent application unit shall be notified within five working days. In order to ensure that the applicant can obtain the model approval certificate in time, the applicant or agent application unit shall send personnel to improve the application materials.

5. The Radio Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Radio Administration Bureau) shall make a decision on administrative licensing within 20 working days from the date of accepting the application for model approval. If a decision cannot be made within 20 working days, it may be extended for 10 working days with the approval of the responsible person of this organ, and the applicant shall be informed of the reasons for the extension. However, if laws and regulations provide otherwise, such provisions shall prevail.

6. After the applicant has obtained the Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate and its approval code, the manufacturer shall indicate the radio transmission equipment type approval code on its approved equipment label (which is clearly visible during normal installation). If it is true that the equipment is too small to indicate its approval code on it, the manufacturer shall publish the model approval code of the equipment in its product manual or user manual.
