What is RoHS certification?
RoHS certification is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation. Its full name is Restriction of Hazardous Substances. This standard has been officially implemented since July 1, 2006. It is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electronic and electrical products, making them more conducive to human health and environmental protection.
Materials to be prepared for ROHS certification application of recorder
1. Fill in the application form completely, indicate the type of report (Chinese or English, both Chinese and English), and provide the corresponding Chinese and English on the report;
2. Two or three finished product samples are used to check the report;
3. Parts test report and complete machine test report;
4. Provide a list of product test reports.
5. Bill of Materials (BOM);
6. Simple sectional view of the finished product (recommended for checking);
7. Product specification or specification performance description, product quality control chart (if any);
8. ROHS declaration of conformity (DoC) of the complete machine.
RoHS Certification Process of Recording Pen
1. Testing: Field or XRF testing and/or laboratory phthalate solvent extraction testing to determine the value of ten restricted RoHS substances.
2. Process audit: on-site inspection of all applicable manufacturing processes that meet RoHS requirements.
3. Document review: review all suppliers' bills of materials, technical documents, assembly drawings, material statements, test reports and certificates of conformity. The technical documents must include the following contents:
(1) General product description and design structure information
(2) Risk assessment of materials, parts and sub assemblies
(3) Compliance information on materials, parts and subassemblies
(4) Manufacturing documents and records
(5) Unified standards, specifications and compliance procedures
4. Certification Statement: After a successful audit, a RoHS certificate of conformity (also known as a certificate of conformity or a declaration of conformity) will be issued.
